Today ( well acutally this was Jan. 18th, but it has taken me this long to finish this post..sorry ) we took Chloe to meet with our new cardio doctor. We had the first appointment of the day which was nice because we didn't have to wait long. They did they usual length and weight. Just as an FYI she was 30 inches and 24 pounds. They also took her blood pressure on her leg with a electric cuff. She loved it because she sat frozen and just watched the motion count down with the red numbers and beep.
After all the usual questions we got to sit down with her Dr for a more thorough discussion of what we needed to do and plan for. We were told that she wasn't such an extreme case, meaning there wasn't any major regurgitation of bloodflow or stenosis of the valve...yet, however she will need to be monitored routinely.
I am so glad to have this appointment over with and to have meet with the Cardiologist. My mind is at peace, all of our questions have been answered, and now we know what to expect and look for.
