I was going through my photos and found these...I don't think I ever posted them.  They are from a snow day back in January or February.  We too the girls out for lunch at Dairy Queen and then to Petsmart.  One of our favorite things to do on a snow day!

First Day of Summer!

I needed a day out of the house so I decided to take Chloe and my niece Kaylee out to Chik-fil-a for lunch and some yummy ice cream.  I told them it was the first day of summer and we needed to celebrate, they agreed!

Happy Birthday to my sweet niece Emalee! She turned 7 today and had a great pool party! As you can see the kids had fun with the face painting.   Can any one guess what Chloe is supposed to be?

Almost famous quotes!

I am planning ahead!  I have big hopes for Chloe Nell!  I hope to sometime read these quotes in her memoir, or political address or in a novel...well that's for hoping anyways, but she is such a talker! I am not really sure who she gets it from..wink:)  She loves to talk and explain things and then of course at random public moments yell out things....that are so funny I have to cover my face from not laughing! I have listed some here that I keep in a quote book!

Chloeism of the day....I fixed her pasta and had carrots on the side. When she saw them she said "I DON"T EAT THOSE!" I said ok I will give to Greta (our dog). So I walked back to the kitchen and mixed the carrots in with noodles and sauce. Gave her another bite....she never saw the carrot or anything and she said "I TASTE IT...GROSS!" followed by her spitting it out! Lovely huh?!!!!

Pretty In PINK!

Chloe MUST and I don't say this lightly...have her toenails and finger nailes painted pink at ALL times!  It has become a little annoying to paint a two year olds nails every 3 days, but she just loves sitting still and have a mini ped and mani.  Boy I wish someone would do that for me! 

For all the skeptics out there...who think two piece bathing suits on toddlers are scandalous and ears being pierced is proactive and painted finger nails on a toddler is prison worthy....get over it! 

We all have opinions, but she is my kid and I think it is cute!  and besides its not like I wax her eyebrows...that would be only on Toddlers and Tiaras :)

Dancing Cousin Diva!

 

Chloe and her cousin Kaylee have a new passion. You guessed it dancing.  They will dance to just about any music and shake their little booties!  They love dressing up in you named it "tards!"  that is leotards!  We have purchased probably 20 over the past few weeks just so these crazy girls can dance.  

Pudding Painting and Gnome House!

The first week that school was out, I was free all week and was able to spend some much need play time with Chloe!  During that first week we purchased her a new play house aka "gnome house" which she loves to play in.  We also experimented with pudding painting.  It was also very fun and yummy!

We Love PACKAGES from Mamaw!

Since Chloe's Mamaw travels a lot we often get some really cool packages in the mail.  Our newest package contained lots of fun summer clothes for Miss Chloe!  Needless to say she LOVED opening and trying everything on!  THANKS MAMAW!

Daddy needs a new mower!

We visit Lowes Home Improvement store at least once a week in the spring and summer.  However, on this trip Chloe had to ride the "tractor" because Daddy really needed a new one!  So cute, but there is no way Daddy is getting a new "tractor"!  Nice try Ricky!

Catch up in 300 words or less...:)

Well as you can tell I haven't been the most faithful blogger lately!  In fact my last blog was probably over 2 months ago...sorry for the delay.  Life is busy with a 2 year old and if your a teacher then you totally understand how busy the last weeks of school can get.  With state testing, talent shows, awards day, and of course opening up our wonderful pool.  There are sometimes more important things to do.

I am not going to back log my entries right now, but will catch up eventually.


School ended for me on May 25th and Ricky finished his year on May 28th.  However, I would love to say that our Summer Break has begun but it hasn't.  I teach in our system's Summer Challenge Program for two weeks, while Ricky does three weeks of basketball camp.  So need less to say we are busy.

Since Chloe's birthday we have just been very busy...can I really say the word busy enough, but then again who isn't busy nowadays! 

Life with a 2 year old is crazy and a rather smart one at that!  I am sure when Chloe grows up she will kill me for this photo....but it is rather funny! ENJOY!

I just wanted to apologize to all my awesome readers out there!  I haven't blogged in way to long and there really isn't any excuse for it, except for the fact that I have been lazy.  I promise by the weekend I will have some new stuff up!
