Hot Air Balloons

When Chloe was really little she was terrified of balloons. In fact at her 1st birthday we didn't even have balloons because they freaked her out so much I didn't want to take any chances.

Well that has changed and she is now obsessed with balloons. We we went to the beach the condo had lights that were about 4 foot tall and covered with round red globes and she thought those were balloons. Every time we would walk outside she would say "loons" it was precious.

She can spot them a mile away if a kid has one or if they are at stores. It is precious to hear her say "loons".

We were lucky this year to make it to Fun Fest in Kingsport. We went with some good friends and their little boy and had so much fun. The night we were there the hot air balloons were set up all down the street for people to walk by and see. They didn't actually take off but were there for an up close and personal view. It was really neat.

Of course Chloe was fascinated with them. She kept saying "Mommy Loons". Next year we plan to go to the night time launch and see them floating by.
