Starfish is a little fish house on the docks that my family can't get enough of. It is a Florida style "hole in the wall" place. You sit outside on a old dock, order at the bar, and wait for the cook to bring your food. Nothing fancy, but the food and the view can't be beat!
The Mote Aquarium-www.mote.org
I wanted to take Chloe some where that had lots of fish and sea life for her to see while we were at the beach. I decided that the Mote Aquarium would be perfect. It is a local aquarium that started as an animal research/study area that also protects and rehabilitates hurt animals. It is very kid friendly and Chloe loved it.
We were able to see salt water fish, squid, sharks, fresh water fish, manatees and dolphins.
St. Armands Square-www.thecolumbiarestaurant.com
If you love high in boutique shopping with and unique atmosphere then St. Armands is the place to visit. It is filled with great shops and restaurants. This year we went back to The Columbia to eat a traditional cuban lunch. It was yummy and Chloe liked it as well.

Moores-www.mooresstonecrab.comWhen I was little we would visit a place called Moores for a yummy dinner and then a chance to see Jackie the dolphin. Those days of watching Jackie the dolphin are long gone, but Moores restaurant is still there and still yummy as ever.
