Play Room

Ricky and I had decided that at some point we would need more space and perhaps even a playroom. I am not a huge fan of having kids toys crammed into all corners of your home but sometimes you just have to deal with it. Well we dealt with it for 12 months and after Chloe's birthday we decided that we looked like a kids consignment shop with all the clutter of toys, a Dora kitchen, pack n play, and so on.

We looked around our house for other options...the basement was out because 1. it is to creepy and 2. it is damp, guest bedroom, good idea but we have a lot of overnight guests, so we decided to turn our front porch/sun room into a playroom.

It has lots of nice new windows that we put in two seasons ago, but it still needed some major work. We needed some drywall installed for the ceiling, new carpet, and new paint. It only took a week to get everything done and it looks great so far. I am still working on decorating it. By far it is the best thing we have done because now Chloe has tons of space to play and when she's done playing we can just close the door and wallah no more clutter!
